Grill 'Em All Alhambra Grand Opening January 19th!

We are so stoked to announce that our friends over at Grill 'Em All have released their grand opening date for their new brick and mortar restaurant! We did an interview with the founders last month who were thrilled with their progress on their new location in Alhambra. On Saturday, January 19th, foodie fans from all over the LA area are going to flock to this burger mecca to crush some delicious burgs. We'll definitely be there, will you?!

From Grill 'Em All:

Grill Em All has been conquering the roads of Los Angeles with their gastronomic powerhouse food truck for three years blazing a trail for gourmet burgers and pushing the limits of food truck tom foolery. After standing triumphant at the end of the Great Food Truck Race finish line (Food Network) and being crowned the Best Thing I Ever Ate (Cooking Channel) the demand for their beef grew to the immeasurable heights only comparable to Iron Maiden ticket sales in 1987. A move had to be made, an attack deployed and attack they shall as the doors of Grill Em All Alhambra AKA Valhalla opens on Saturday January, 19th!

Valhalla (19 East Main Street Alhambra, CA 91801) sits in the center of the Alhambra Renaissance Center in the bustling downtown intersection of East Main and Garfield Ave. The décor is nothing short of balls to the wall; heavy metal posters strewn about, televisions, loud music and original art work by Grill Em house artist Andy Anderson. The ghouls, burger warrior and burger wizard are back with vengeance.

“We always wanted to open our own space and the truck was meant to be a stepping stone” says co-owner Matthew Chernus. “We wanted the restaurant to be a natural progression of the truck and it is but just so much better. The menu has grown, the art has grown, and the entire attitude is just exploding in front of our eyes.” Chef and co-owner Ryan Harkins has cultivated a menu of mind alternating burgers made up of new and old-truck favorites with extreme takes on fries and house made chili. Saturday the 19th will be written down in the fabled book of burgers as a day of celebration and it will also be “bat-shit crazy” says Harkins.

The last three years have seen Chernus and Harkins appear on national television (Food Network, Cooking Channel, Travel Channel, Mtv), on the airwaves of NPR and the pages of The Wall Street Journal, Decibel and Los Angeles Magazine. The next wave of the Grill Em All story will take place inside rather than on the road and if the space-age burger war mural on the entrance wall does not win you over immediately, at first bite the food certainly will.
